The Copy Test website consists of two parts: an online copy depository of written
submissions, and an annual competition for places on the IPA Summer School.
The online copy depository
The IPA Copy Test will be available on line all year round and all written submissions
will be available to view by IPA member agencies in the online copy depository.
All written submissions in response to six randomly generated questions will be
held in the copy depository. By submitting the entry, the author agrees to allow
the IPA to share the responses with interested IPA member agencies.
Submissions will only be disclosed to IPA staff and IPA member agencies and will
not be disclosed under any circumstances to any third parties outside of the IPA
membership.
Entries in the depository will be held for a period of one year and the authors
of the submissions will be contacted annually by e-mail to confirm if they wish
their submission to remain in it. If we do not receive a response within 48 hours,
or if we receive an automated e-mail reply (aside from a holiday/out of office reply)
the submission will be removed.
The IPA Summer School competition
The IPA Summer School 2009 will run for five weeks from 6th July to 7th August 2009.
The competition for places at the Summer School is only open to candidates/applicants
during the period 22nd May to 12th June inclusive. Applicants
cannot enter the competition outside these dates.
Entrants must be a current UK or EU student, who is either in their second, third
or final year of a UK university programme in September 2009. This competition is
not open to international students. Entries are limited to one entry per person
for the IPA Summer School competition per year.
The successful entrants will be notified by e-mail the week commencing 15th June
and will be required to attend a meeting the week commencing 22nd June. The names
of the successful candidates will be posted on the Summer School website.
All successful candidates will receive an award of £500 on completion of the Summer
School programme.
Applicants will be asked to provide some personal information and contact details.
In order to comply with the Data Protection Act 1998, the data collected will only
be used for the purpose of administration and user certification, and will not be
disclosed to any external sources.
